This was a nice, lazy day. For lack of anything else to do, we drove in the car to Parrsboro on the curvy road that we will drive in the motorhome tomorrow to get to route 2 which will take us back to New Brunswick. It's not really bad in a car and it doesn't have all the patches that some terrible roads have, but there are still a lot of cracks and bumps and not much shoulder. We don't know the condition of the other roads we will take in New Brunswick.
In Parrsboro, we briefly stopped at the Ottawa House museum, which in its former life was both an inn and private residence.
We came back for lunch and walked way out on the low-tide beach to look for treasures. All we collected were a bag of pretty rocks! We got some other basics done: cutting hair, doing laundry, and dumping the tanks!
Like many of the other Canadian campgrounds, the power here is pretty sketchy. Most only have 30 amp and not 50 amp service which we can usually do fine with, but the voltage is low. We have a system which turns it off if the voltage is too low, which protects the appliances. I managed to use my induction cook-top to cook dinner, but then when I tried using the microwave, the power was too low and it cut off.
