We were in the car running around Yellowstone most of the past two days, so decided to take it easy for a day. I needed to do laundry and some grocery shopping, plus we desperately needed to figure out where we will go for the next two weeks. We were worried about finding a campsite for the holiday weekend, so spent a few hours looking at maps and campground reviews. We did make reservations for our next three campgrounds. We don't usually do it that far ahead, but we have to for holidays and weekends.
We drove in to Cody to shop, and a car that we met threw up a rock which hit my windshield right in front of my face and put a shiny nick in the glass. So, our first stop was a glass repair place. He did the "spot" treatment in about 15 minutes, and now the nick is barely noticeable. As we rode into town, we met a lot of emergency vehicles heading back the way we had come, and when we left town, we saw the remains of a bad wreck which must have happened right behind us. So, we were fortunate to get away with just a windshield problem!
We'll be on the road to Billings, MT in the morning.
