We spent the morning in the Titanic Museum. It's right next to the campground, so we walked to it. We were glad we were early since there was a line when we came out. They tell the story well, and of course it's depressing since we know the outcome! They have a lot of artifacts from many people whose stories they tell. Your picture is taken in front of a green screen and they hope you will buy it for $40! Photos are not allowed inside so I don't have anything to show but the outside of the building.
After lunch we rode out to the visitor center at the Table Rock Dam, which holds a flood control lake about the size of Kerr Lake. They have a film and a nice display about the need for flood control.
We ate a good dinner at Montana Mike's, and again they wanted to take our picture to sell to us. And the same thing happened at the show! Souvenir pictures seem to be the big game in town, along with time-shares! But the show was great! I have never heard of the Haygoods, but it's a group of five brothers and a sister who have been singing and playing together all their lives. They put on a fabulous show with all kinds of instruments, laser lights and pyro.
