Flagstaff and Sedona

We had to wait in Holbrook since we had only a two-hour drive to Flagstaff, so we drove into town to see the historic Wigwam Motel.  They have a number of vintage cars sitting in front of the wigwams that are rooms for rent. We also visited their well-done museum that gives a lot of the history of the region.

Then we drove to Flagstaff and got set up before we took a drive down to Sedona.  It's a gorgeous, but very expensive area.  The town was crowded and we did not stop. We drove through several canyons, but the temperature was 110 degrees, so we stayed in the car except for taking pictures.

We will leave here in the morning to head to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, and I have heard that both wifi and phone data are sketchy there, so I may not be able to post until after we leave there,

The museum was the old court house.
