I have a few pictures from last night's fireworks, but it's really hard to get good ones. I tried a bunch of different settings. We had a nice time visiting with Alan and Yuka. There was a fire at a boat storage facility near the lake that started shortly before the fireworks. We're guessing that it was started by amateur fireworks since they were all around. Seattle is starting to try and regulate home fireworks without much success. We saw big ones along the highway all the way home, and there were loud booms and high fireworks around the campground even after we went to bed.
This morning, we drove to the Boeing factory to take their tour. There was a gallery showing their products and some history that was free, and we paid for the factory tour. They don't allow any electronics or cameras in the factory. They provided lockers to store your stuff in. There was one man in our group who was talking on his cell phone and taking picture, and I ratted on him! I hate people who think they don't have to follow the rules! They took his camera for the rest of the tour and deleted all his photos.
The assembly bays are HUGE! There are airplanes in all sorts of assembly. The parts are made in other areas and are shipped into this plant. They have several planes called "Dreamlifters" which bring in the huge parts of the Dreamliner.
