We rode from Gig Harbor back to the south of Seattle to visit the Museum of Flight at the original Boeing plant location. It's definitely an all-day experience. They have huge exhibits on the history of flight, both world wars, and space travel. We hurried through some of it and still spent almost six hours there! Everything is extremely well-done and well laid out. The only drawback was the hordes of kids in summer classes who ran around, and mostly didn't care what was there!
We had a wonderful lady who gave us the tour of the B-17 that she had helped restore. We also toured the original jet-powered Air Force One.
