Day one in Nashville

We took Baxter to the field and threw his frisbee enough to tire him out so we didn't mind leaving the dogs in the camper.

Then we drove the 25 miles into Nashville to check it out and find our way around.  There are highways going in all directions, but we found the Antique Archeology store of our favorite TV show, American Pickers.  It has become a real tourist destination!  It's not very big and is filled with lots of the "finds" we have seen on the show.  They sell more t-shirts than anything else, and of course I bought one!

We drove through the middle of town and there were huge crowds for the festival and no place to park.  I wasn't dressed appropriately, anyway since I wasn't wearing a sundress and cowboy boots!

Next, we went to the ticket office of the Grand Ole Opry to pick up the tickets we bought online.  They had about eight ticket agents.  Tomorrow, we'll probably eat in the huge mall across the street before the show.  The parking lot is huge, but there will be tons of people there.
