Leaving Oshkosh - lots of miles!

We left around 8 AM and said goodbye to Pat & Kirk.  We've had so much fun with them this summer and hate that we live several states away from them!

We (Tommie) put almost 500 miles behind us in 10 hours of driving.  We went through LOTS of road construction and drove over lots more roads that need to be repaired!  Rough connections and patches in a road are so much more jarring in a motorhome than in a car.  When we stopped at the end of our day, I had to open cabinets and the fridge very carefully!

We drove south into Illinois, through Bloomington and east through Champaign and Indianapolis.  We took the road through the middle of Indianapolis for the first time instead of the outer loop and had no trouble.

We are staying in a campground just outside of Dayton, Ohio and will get an early start tomorrow.  The horse is headed to the barn!
