We drove about two hours to the final destination of our trip...Oshkosh, Wisconsin....to the Air Venture air show. It doesn't start until Monday, but we wanted to get set up before the crowds got here. We have reservations in a private campground adjacent to the EAA campground, and we have water and electric hookups here, which will be really nice since it's supposed to be hot this weekend, and we can come inside and cool off when we need to. Pat and Kirk are camping next to us and arrived just after we did, so we had a nice time visiting after we got our rigs situated.
Other campers started pouring in not long after we arrived, and there will be lots more in the next two days. There are folks from Canada whom we enjoy who have had the sites next to us for about five years, and they will arrive on Sunday.
