Day 6 at Air Venture - "Flying Wild Alaska" & night air show

We went into the show early to hear a presentation by Ariel Tweto, star of Flying Wild Alaska, which was one of our favorite shows on the Discovery channel a few years ago.  She's a cute and vivacious young woman who has lots of stories to tell, but unfortunately the acoustics were terrible and it was hard to hear her.

We rode around on the tram and stopped at the ultralight field for a while before we came back to the campground.  After dinner, we went to the night air show which started before dusk with some jumpers and some jets.  Pat and Kirk had gone earlier and saved front row seats for us!  After dark, there were aircraft with pyrotechnics, great fireworks, and then the "wall of fire".
