It rained again during the night and was cloudy all morning and drizzled on us some as we were out, so everything is again muddy!
I wanted to go hear the talk by Joe Duff, the lead pilot for Operation Migration: the organization which has used ultralight aircraft to lead endangered whooping cranes in their migration from Wisconsin to Florida for about 15 years. Unfortunately, the projector in the forum tent didn't have the correct cable to connect to his computer, so he couldn't show his PowerPoint presentation with his videos. He did give a fascinating talk, and will repeat it tomorrow with the visual aids.
After that, we went back to the warbird area and took their narrated tour again. We have done this for the past few years, but now they are using less experienced narrators who are sometimes reading from a script, and it's not nearly so interesting.
After lunch I drove to the Sam's Cub in Appleton to pick up the last prescription we'll need for Brucie while we are on this trip.
