We drove north on M31 which follows the coast. There are some gorgeous homes and beautiful
views in some of the towns. We drove by
many cherry orchards and I tried really hard to get a picture as we drove by,
but just got blurs! We’ll stop when
we’re driving the car and maybe find a u-pick.
We crossed the LONG Mackinac Bridge ($14 for a motorhome
towing a car!), and I took pictures the whole way. Our campground is on the Lake Michigan side
of I-75, just west of St Ignace. It’s up
on a hill overlooking the lake.
After we got set up, we took a drive west and then east
along the coast. There really wasn’t a
whole lot to see. We stopped at a park
at the Cut River bridge and took a short walk.
Baxter saw some grass, so got to chase a Frisbee.
We drove back through the town of St Ignace, which has a
really pretty municipal marina.
