Ford TriMotor!

The highlight of the day (and, maybe the whole week!) was our ride on the Ford TriMotor.  It was the first passenger aircraft and was built during the 20's and 30's.  They have two of them offering rides at Air Venture, and our friends, Pat & Kirk managed to BOTH win two tickets for rides, so they invited us to join them!

It was a fantastic experience, and I finally got to take some pictures showing the whole field.

This is the one we were to ride on.

I love the pictures with the engine in the foreground!
