We got the motorhome as close as it will get to San Francisco. We waited around a while at Bodega Bay since it was only 55 miles to our destination and we didn't want to arrive before check-in time. Since it had misted last night, which made little black beads of wet dirt on my car, Tommie washed it off with the pump sprayer. It really comes in handy for washing windshields. Most RV parks prohibit vehicle washing.
We arrived at our campground around noon and got set up. As expected, this campground is a parking lot with hookups, but it is convenient and has a good place for dog walks. We talked with some nice neighbors and went to a Safeway. There's also a Trader Joe's within walking distance.
After supper, we took a practice walk to the ferry terminal which we'll take in the morning to see Bennett and Sally.

Spraying the car.
It was just as dirty again when we got to the next campground! |
