Today we were on interstate highways the whole time. There was lots more traffic, a few construction slowdowns, and almost no navigating, but we were back to those horrid seams in the concrete, which are not really noticeable in an automobile, but shake you to the core in a motorhome! And, the badly repaired patches make you think the rig is going to fall apart!
We gassed up at a Kroger and paid $1.49/gal for 35 gallons of gas! I used my 60 cents of fuel points, but they limit you to 35 gallons at that price. We filled up this rig for just over $100, which is amazing!
We put in another 400 miles today and are staying in a campground just west of Champaign, Illinois. We can make it to Oshkosh tomorrow if all goes well. We can pay for extra nights at our campground there and go ahead and get settled.
