We've been home for two days and I'm just now getting around to making my final post of this trip!
Our last two nights out were in the Georgia mountains at Fort Mountain State Park. It's in a beautiful area, but since it's a state park, there's no wifi, and the Verizon signal was very spotty. I was lucky to get a text sent, much less have any data!
On both our days there we took hikes through the woods to an overlook or waterfall. We didn't take dogs since there was poison ivy all around, plus Baxter can't see well enough to take walks now.
This mountain has an 855 foot stone wall which was thought to have been built by early Native Americans, either as a fortification or ceremonial.
