We left Spring Green Wisconsin on Wednesday and spent one night at a campground near Champaign, IL, headed for Dayton, Ohio along with Pat and Kirk, our Florida friends. There are very few campgrounds in the area, but since we just hadn't seen enough airplanes in Oshkosh, we found a sort of flaky campground in Springfield, OH so we could tour Dayton.
All the sites were unlevel and it took us a while to get settled in the campground. We drove back into Dayton, but only had about an hour to tour the Wright Brothers museums. They have restored one of their bicycle shops and also a building where they had a printing office.
Yesterday (Friday), we spent almost all day at the National Museum of the US Air Force. It's a massive facility made of at least three giant hangars. We spent about five hours there and had to hurry through some parts.
